WHAT:
Overlords: Fantasy Battlescape Wargame: (Titan
Variant)
A fantasy war/board game, Overlords has somewhat been modeled as a deluxe variant of Avalon Hill's old Titan game, only with full color game boards and nice plastic playing tokens. This is a larger format boxed game with full color box and gameboard and hundreds of quality plastic game tokens and playing token stickers. Includes a D4, D6, D8, and D10. |
Worlds
of Heroes & Tyrants Fantasy Quest Board Game:
Launched in the spring of 2001, the first edition of the game captured a strong place in the fantasy board game arena. Originally billed as a Talisman variant, the new 2nd edition is dropping that moniker and upgrading to be a direct competitor to the revived Talisman. The new 2nd edition is a larger format boxed game with full color box and mounted game boards, will include 10 plastic playing figures, dice, nearly 200 cards and more. And the second edition will only retail for $34.95, less that half that of the "competition". Oh, and you can get this game at some great discounts. All first edition W.H.A.T. board game expensions are fully compatible with the new second edition and most will soon be upgraded to 2nd editions as well (and include figurines and more cards as well). |
Button
Wars: 2nd Edition: Empires & Overlords Setting
Originally released summer of 2000, this was a new style of table top miniatures game. A tactical spaceship miniatures game, quasi collectible, this game has attractive full color "buttons" without the pin backing, durable ready to play miniatures. The first edition of this game came out strong, but slacken due to a variety of reasons. Collectability. Too high a price on the Starter Box. A poor packaging format for the Button packs. And others. But none had to do with the game play itself and the system still has its following. Now the Guild of Blades is releasing Button Wars 2nd Edition. The new format is NOT COLLECTABLE, but rather expandable. The basic game now also includes all of the rules for fighters and mecha, along with the capital ships. The new 2 player starter now has more buttons and plastic fighter/mecha tokens, while retailing for only $6.95 (compared to $19.95 with first edition). Button Packs now come packaged in nice full color card sized boxes and 4 Buttons like the 1st edition, but now also include 9 plastic fighter/mecha tokens as well. Same $5.95 price per Button Pack. |
Heroes
Forever RPG:
A super hero RPG, its an inexpensive game with an easy and flexible system for use with most major comic book settings. The Heroes Forever RPG brings supers to a very science fantasy like alternate historical world, where gods, immortals, aliens, sorcerers, and mecha all come together into a unique gaming experience. Perfect bound books with great artwork at great prices (core rules only $11.95, many sourcebooks $13.95 or under). |
Worlds
of Heroes & Tyrants Customizable RPG: Deluxe Edition
Released in 97 as the W.H.A.T.? Customizable RPG; a $2 rpg booklet design as a little fun old style fantasy rpg. It existed in that form for three years and had 14 supplements published and generated a strong following in that time. Now we've taken the concept of cheap (introductory) for the game to an all new level, now giving away introductory copies of the game for FREE, with over 160,000 given away to date. We are now preparing to release an all new Deluxe Edition of the game along industry standard book sizes and format, in order to make them more retailer-shelf friendly. |
Grunt
Deluxe: Revised 2nd Ed. Fantasy Miniature Battles Box Set:
The Guild's first game, the first edition launched in the summer of 96 as a photo copied wonder that drew a dedicated core fan base. Three editions and several years later, the new 2 Player Box Set is still an "introductory" Miniatures game, though now has a lot of depth for more experienced minis players. A great miniatures game that offers everything needed for to players to play for only $29.95. But our card stock minis can easily be set aside and the great play style of Grunt can also support clicky base figures, Warhammer figs, and others. |
Over
the Trenches Box Set Edition: (Risk Variant)
A great variant to this ultra popular, simple strategy game. Taking the basics game play/dice mechanics of Risk, Over the Trenches provides players a World War I era game map, approx 300 plastic infantrymen and an unique alternate style of play. Players seek to dominate nations and empires rather than continents. Territories have resource values which limit the total number of troops that may each territory and city territories provide additional defenses. Armies may also travel the high seas, bringing both land and sea elements into players strategic options. This is not a "product line" exactly, but rather just a single Risk variant. Though over time we may add a few expansions to this game, as player interest warrants. |
